Summer is almost over!! It's time to shake a tail feather at the Altitudes Sky Lounge on the rooftop of the Marriott. I love this place. It's absolutely beautiful up there. Not just the view, but the decor too. They have palm trees, shiek white leather couches, a fire place, bar facing petco park.. amazing! Another huge plus is no cover, but more importantly, no dress code. But even then,.. GIRLS, dress up! if there's a chance to dress up, this would be a great place to. Leave your flip flops at home! The dress code is more beneficial to the boys, who can wear their hats/kicks and still look good/formal without having to worry about being declined at the door because of what their shoes look like. The best way to kick off the summer in San Diego is with JAZZ on the Beach at Oceanside Pier!! This will be our 3rd year of enjoying the music from the 98.1 Jazz series from the sidelines on the beach. Those of you that want to join us. It's a family beach day. We will be located south of the pier on the beach. This location makes it easy to listen to the Mindi Abair, Peter White and Oli Silk from the Oceanside Amphitheater, Sunday, July 19th! We will set up the grill and canopy around 2pm on beach. If you would like to help with the setup please let me know. The concert begins at 5:15 p.m. Where is the SDBP JAZZ Beach Party?
The beach party will be held on the beautiful Oceanside Pier in ear shot of the 98.1 Jazz concert. Please be prepared to bring sunscreen and weather-appropriate clothing the day of the party. The temperature may get cool at sunset. Rain is the only cancellation. How do I get to The Oceanside Pier?
From Interstate 5, take the Mission Avenue exit, west. Continue until you reach Pacific Street and you will be in the pier area. When is beach party over?
The Beach party will end at sunset around 8p. Menu Items:

This is the time to bring the family and enjoy food, drinks and games. Beach attire is recommended. Our locatin is next to a playground so the kids will definitely have a nice time.

There are pay parking lots located south and north of the pier. Another pay parking lot is located one block east of Pacific Street on Mission Avenue and Myers Street. There is also metered parking available on Pacific Street!

Hey everyone: I do apologize for the late notice. I was trying to make arranagements with The W hotel for this month's meetup, but the genre of music was House and just didn't want that. So I picked a new spot I heard a lot about in North Park! True North is a catchall bar. The place comes equipped with all the popularity-ensuing essentials: pool tables, dance pad, glass garage doors, huge half-barrel booths, some 20 flatscreens, beer-friendly grub like barbecue burgers and tater tots, a bar the size of Kong and a smoking patio the size of Puerto Rico (with its own separate satellite bar). As far as the crowd goes, you'll most likely see something you rarely see in all of San Diego: Finally a Multi-cultural mix of fun people everywhere, all shaking their hips in time to Bell Biv DeVoe, Salt-n-Pepa and the Beastie Boys.
I know we will enjoy this place! The word is you have to get there before 10p or there will be long line. You know I will be there at 7p to greet everyone!! Thanks for your support,

North Park What a gem! MOSAIC Wine bar It's got an upscale vibe but somehow also felt very comfortable. It is really nice inside, the architecture is modern and beautiful. Ambiance is very mellow and classy. definitely a fun place to hang. Selection and service is top notch. The prices are extremely reasonable and it's a great space. Honestly parking on a Friday night would be very definitely frustrating that's parking in San Diego for ya. The whole place feels classy but not at all snobby, which is a tough line for wine bars to walk, and Mosaic pulls it off wonderfully!! See ya at the meetup,
