The November meetup is the time to give! The 5th Annual FALL into JAZZ Awards Banquet and Gala Event. Let's come out and show our support for this organization.

This dynamic group is comprised of key local talent, ages 21 to 40, who are committed to corporate, social and community activism.

The ULSDC Young Professionals are providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors and current college students. In keeping with the Urban League's commitment to community service, the scholarships will be awarded to students that demonstrate a commitment to community outreach. Rosarito Beach Day Trip
San Diego Black Professional are teaming up with Fred's Playland once again!!!

Since some of you didn't get to do it the first time...

Let's try this one again.

Fred has planned a relaxing safe day of fun under the sun in Beautiful Rosarito Beach Mexico.

We will travel south from Tijuana by bus to Rosarito Beach.

After sitting down for tasty lobster at Vince?s Restaurant,

We will head down to the beach for some horseback riding.

There will also be plenty of time for shopping before returning to the border.

SUMMER 2007 is coming to a close.

It has been a pleasure hosting the SUMMER 2007 festivities for this group. Every week from May until now has been a collection of phenomal experiences for me!

I can't wait to close out the summer the same way we opened it at Oceanside Pier listening to Live Jazz while socializing over the grill, playing cards, and throwing horse shoes. A few people have been braggin about their domino skills. If you think you have skills bring'em to table and lets see who is better.

We will need everyone to bring something for the grill or a dish to share with the group.

So bring a friend and lets do it again, at Oceanside Pier.

We will be in the same spot as last time. For those you who couldn't make it we will be located directly outside the 98.1 concert.

Thanks for the outstanding response, with a group this large we had to change companies. I will need to collect money to secure our reservations by Friday at 7pm. I work in downtown area, but I'm willing to meet you. So please call me 619-540-0276 or respond to this email.

We need to be on time because another large group will be launching also. If you are there 15 or 20 minutes early I can get you started with instruction so we can hit the water at exactly 9:00. I'll be there at 8:00 AM.

Once you are in your boat and in the water please stay in the dock area or in the lagoon until all of our group is in the water. Fred will be giving these instructions again when we are there so don't stress. We will paddle around Mission Bay for about 2 hours. The distance we travel will depend on our group. We will have a wide range of experience levels. No one will be left and no one should feel embarrassed if you don't catch on right away It's okay. It's all about the fun and experiencing something new, so I'm expecting everyone to be full of praise & encouragement for one another. We may even split into two groups. But regardless, it will be a phenominal day with lots of fun & laughter.
Directions to Aqua Adventures:
Traveling west on Mission Bay Drive like you are going to Belmont Park,
Turn left on Quivira Rd., which is the light before you cross the bridge. Then another immediate left, Follow Quivira Rd for about half a mile until you see the deli on the right.
The Aqua Adventures is next door to the deli.
If you make it the circle you went too far.

Immediately after kayaking we will meet at Quivira Point for cookout & kickball. Quivera Point is at he end of Quivera Rd at the traffic circle just a couple of hundred feet past Aqua Adventures.
